Chinese Bottled Jasmine Tea (Molispace)

I can not read Chinese and I tried typing in the web address on the bottle but the page does not exist currently. I noticed only after I had grabbed this out of the market that it expired 10 months ago!! The Market we go to has a tendency to not check their products expiration dates and it was my fault that it was a bit late. Anyways I am thinking that since then when the Jasmine Tea was bottled that perhaps the company does not exist anymore. That follows in suit to the tea in this bottle which was not to our liking. Now it might not be that great because it is OLD but it was too sweet and is no were as nice as Ito En's Jasmin tea (which is delicious), see here.

Like said we tried it and it taste like Jasmine tea but has sweetness that I just don't care for. Ms. Noodle likes sweet teas but she didn't agree with this one. I will not be getting this one again and I now know that it is expired it I see it again.
This is a Miss, don't buy!

Eiwa Matcha Marshmallow

 photo IMG_4151_zpsca9e9cbf.jpg photo IMG_4152_zpsa8efb21a.jpg

I was in the local shop wondering what to pick up this time. I noticed this in the candy section that they were marshmallows that had a green tea filling. I figured it wouldn't hurt to try. So I opened the bag and dropped one in the mouth. I lit it sit for a bit and noticed that it had a slight green tea flavor on the outside of the marshmallow. Very slight flavor. The marshmallow was nice and soft and then I took the bite. I hit a rush of green tea flavor right in the middle of this puff ball. It was a great taste and the entire candy is soft and not sticky at all. I have to say it was a great experience. It is from the Eiwa Confectionery Company in Japan.

They are about as round as a quarter so a perfect size to drop in the mouth.
I just found out that they have blueberry flavored ones and pumpkin that is seasonal, must try!

Citrus Botan Rice Candy

I have reviewed in the past Botan Rice Candy, you can find that review here.
This is some more Botan Rice candy but it has a citrus flavor. I saw this in World Market the other day and knew that I needed to try it. This is just like the regular Botan Candy that has been around for a while but it has a nice light citrus flavor. I love citrus things and adding it to this lovely soft candy just made Botan Rice Candy a better experience for me.

You tear the wrapper off of the box and the inside slides out to show the candies. I thought they were individually wrapped but once again it is that rice paper that will dissolve in your mouth once it hits your tongue. Maybe a little more softer then the originals, I would recommend this one over the original Botan Candies. They need to make these easier available then originals for sure.

Recommend!

Kit-Kat Houjicha Roasted Green Tea Flavor

 photo IMG_1143_zps2cfc5d0b.jpg photo IMG_1144_zps840b0c1b.jpg

Another Kit-Kat flavor that I picked up in the City of Kyoto, Japan on my travels in November. These were Delicious. Roasted Green Tea is something I love and to have it in Kit-Kat form with white chocolate it taste great. It is sweet but not to sweet and has that earthy taste that roasted green tea gives you. I enjoy earthy flavors like roasted green tea and even the smell has it. I recommend getting this as you might be able to find it easier now. With the Matcha kit-kat flavors out there  and not as exclusive as it once was maybe this on is on it's way.
