This soda is amazing. I tried it on my first trip to Japan and just fell in love with it. I love grapefruits and this soda is so refreshing. I had a hard time coming across it in a vending machine in Tokyo but found it pretty easily in Kyoto. My first trip I only noticed this one and Met's Cola along Kirin's Mets line but now there are some other fruit flavors. I have noticed a lot more grapefruit soda drinks last year then 3 years ago. This drink has such a nice sweet grapefruit flavor inside. I think about ordering a case and having it delivered here in the states but know it would be costly. YES GET THIS.

These are really sweet and when I first put these in the mouth my tongue was twitching. They are intense but they are good. Taste just like orange and they come in small tear drop shapes. Glad they come with a seal-able bag since I could not eat these in one sitting or I would have sores in the mouth. I want to get more and once again take my time eating them over a week!

More fruity alcohol?! I will buy! I love peaches and this is like and alcoholic peach drink that is carbonated. Only 3% you can probably go through a lot of these. It taste great and Suntory did a great job. I wish I found out about these on my earlier trips rather then this last one because I would have had these all the time. It isn't a sin to walk the streets of Japan drinking alcohol either! Drink it like a soda with a kick, Yes you have to try these.

These were great. I love crispy chips that has a flavor I would like and is different. They almost were like Lay's regular chips but had a more rich butter taste to them. It was like a creamy baked potato loaded upon some butter but in a crispy form. Nice for one sitting if you don't mind the 320 calories from the entire bag. The little cow face is cute too and Hokkaido is known for their agriculture. If I can find this again, I would grab a bag.

These chips have a bit of a kick to them but they are good. When I opened up the bag a chili smell came from within. I was disappointing that the bag was 1/4 full of chips. It made it a good snack size that is for sure since I do not want to sit and eat tons and tons of chips. I would get these again and I am usually not a chip guy. Gosh they are crispy and taste great. I would find these and get these again!

This is a small re-seal-able package with some nori or seaweed inside. It has two layers of seaweed with some wasabi placed between. The nori taste great has that strong fish taste but once you hit the wasabi it has the kick that brings you to attention. Not a big bag enough for a quick snack and it is nice that they offer a seal as a option if you want a few latter. Some of the other nori packs Ms. Noodle gets you have to eat them in one go since there is no seal, unless you have a Ziploc and put it in there. Not sure if I would get them again, I am not a nori guy, Ms. Noodle is but she is not a wasabi girl!

So Ms. Noodle and I stopped at a Denny's for breakfast to get a little bit of home for a meal. This Denny's is open 24 hrs like some back home but it smells of cigarette smoke and there are some old business men reading the paper smoking up a cloud. Anyways, we ordered our own meals and I decided on what is pictures. I got a scrambled egg, lightly cooked piece of bacon, side of white rice, miso soup, glass of orange juice, small yogurt and a little salad. Very nice but I sometimes enjoy my heavy breakfast at IHOP with huge omelettes and pancakes! The eggs were fluffy and soft, bacon really chewy and I don't ever eat a salad at that time of day but it was nice. Rice is almost anytime of day there which no complaint here. I'd stop by again for this mix of American-Japanese breakfast.

So this is from my trip to Japan last year. Man it seems to have been awhile but all the food reviews and images that are from that trip were from my phone so sorry about that. I love Met's drinks from Kirin. My first trip to Japan there was Met's Cola and Met's Grapefruit (all time favorite). This last trip I found that there were more offered in the line. This is one of them. I picked it up at a 7-Eleven and boy did it have some carbonation. It had the refreshing feel to it but I was not sold on the taste. I may be biased because my tastes for Lychee has dropped really. Other then that I can see it to be really enjoyable.

Ms. Noodle loves these things. She has bought them almost every time at the market since she tried the first box. I know she gives the A+. These are a lot like Pocky in shape but they are not coated with chocolate or anything. There is some seasoning on the outside but they are different. Nice and crispy, it has a "corn" flavor to it. Imagine eating some corn on the cob that is slightly sweet. It is that taste in a biscuit stick. Pretty good, definitely one of the more enjoyable Pretz that Glico has produced. We will be getting this again.

Honey and Butter chips why would you not pick this up at the store. Calbee comes out with some great flavors. They try all kinds of things in Japan with these chips kinda like Pringles trying out flavors. These are just like all their other chips but butter with a sweetness from honey I expect. Ms. Noodle enjoyed them and would like to get some more. I am about mid way, I have had other chips I enjoy more like the spicy ones.

WHAT!?!? This are like hot fries but smaller. They are so tasty! This bag is not that big and the fries are pretty small and narrow. Grab a few and put them in your mouth as you get that nice spicy kick! The old lady on the bottom of the bag is yelling for more (not sure if she really is). I want more, I may go look for hot fries after work today!

So I picked this up at the local super market. This is a small box that has I think 16 packs in it, I can't remember since they are all gone now. You heat up the water and dump the powder into the glass. You can ice it by putting ice in it as well. Now the first time I had it was pretty nice. The taste is right for that Vietnamese coffee but the feel of it on the mouth was odd. It's like it made it super creamy and would leave an after taste a lot longer then you wanted. After a few more into it, I reminded myself that sometimes I get hooked on bad coffee and I was wondering if that was happening here. Ms. Noodle and others tasted it from my cup and were revolted. I will probably not pick this up again, I'll grab some other instant coffee for sure.

This was Ms. Noodles free drink at the Robot Restaurant and Show. It is a pre bottle ginger ale and vodka. Very low in alcohol content as you can not really taste the vodka but it makes the ginger ale have a kick. If I was in the mood for a ginger ale I would totally get this. 5% seems low for my local brewery here of beer which makes them between 5-10% (heavy stuff). I could probably keep drinking these before you really feel it.

These are not that bad. The white chocolate isn't as creamy as some other related items (Pocky) that I have had. The cookie though gives it a crispy enjoyment out of it. Ms. Noodle enjoys these and they are from Korea's #1 brand! I, Mr. Tea, would pass but Ms. Noodle might get them again.

These are absolutely delicious. They were some good and creamy. I wish I could fins these again. They are really short and the sticks are chocolate with this dark creamy chocolate on the outside. Maybe 3 to 4 inches long a piece I destroy them easily in a few minutes. The box is not that big but I enjoy every bit. GET THESE.

This is apparently 100 % coconut water. It has zero % fat, 5 electrolytes, no cholesterol and no sugar added. It has a good amount of potassium as well. It taste just like some coconut water with a slight mango taste. I myself (Mr. Tea) don't like coconut water/milk it isn't for me but the slight mango flavor that is in this makes it more enjoyable. I am not sure if I will get it again but it is good for you so maybe I will. I would be willing to try out some more flavors like peach or strawberry. I'm on the fence, it isn't amazing but it's not bad. The nutrition out of it I guess should be worth it.

This is pretty interesting. We love milk tea and this was an original flavor. There were a few other flavors and I am sure we will try them out at some point. So you heat up or boil some water and put it in your mug/cup. Then you put one of these tea bags in it and let it steep. It has the tea and dry milk powder I guess but it actually taste pretty good. I really want to try the others. It shows on the side of the box on what to do if you want it iced or what not. I'd get it again, but more flavors next for sure!

I am not to sure amount more ramune candy. There are so many flavored candies after ramune in Japan it's crazy. I can not think of much Coca-cola flavored candies here in the States. This is a soft candy the shape of a square and it melts in the the mouth and taste just like ramune. If you freeze or cool it in the refrigerator it actually changes flavors, pretty cool. I like them more frozen as it is a chilling effect but tasty still. Grab some!

Aw man this stuff is legit tasting. This is some taste candy right here. I've had the Koala candies before this is the best flavor. It reminds me of maple syrup, I want more right now! It is a sweet flavor. It is March themed and has some Easter themed aspects to it. It is a seasonal treat!

This is a bottle of Pepsi that is not it's typical brown color. This is a Pepsi with pink coloring and the label says Pepesi Sakura with purple and pink on it. Nice pleasing bottle. The soda does smell fruity and has some nice carbonation in it. I am not sure I like the flavor which is the flavor of sakura/blossoms cherries. I do not like cherry flavored things so much and this taste like cherry which is what it's going with. It reminds me slightly of Mountain Dew Code Red which I do not like. It is a bit better though then the latter.

So this was interesting walking by this in the store. This is a bottle of reddish water that has the essence of red bean or azuki. It really taste like red bean. It is kinda weird since I usually have red beans, or red bean paste or red bean ice cream but this is just water. I may not ever get it again just cause there are other drinks I'd rather get but it was different.

This tea has a strong fragrance about it. I actually end up using some other black or green loose tea leaves to mellow it out. Essentially it is just black tea that has been heavily scented with jasmine. In small doses it is pretty good but I do have to water it down or use other teas with. There are larger cans of this but I got the small can. The can is nice and I like the color, keeps the aroma inside and not all over.
Wednesday, July 27, 2016
this is interesting. So they are shaped like Cheetos but they taste like Captain Crunch cereal. They are pretty good. The flavor is strawberry and not like a weird strawberry. They are crunchy and pretty good. Opening the bag for the first time has a nice strawberry aroma to it. I am not sure if I will get this again as it isn't usually my thing. They were not amazing just not bad.
Wednesday, July 20, 2016
I picked this up at the local Asian market because I had some muscle and joint pain related to post surgery. I'm not sure if it actually helped but id did taste good and also soothed me out. I am not sure I will buy this specific tea again but it is enjoyable. There are more teas from the same manufacture that I might try first before coming back.
This gummies come in little tear shape and they taste like orange. It is really strong and sweet. Makes my tongue tingle that it is so sweet. I may get them again but they are really sweet. I like that you can re seal the bag between every fruit you have. There is no way I could eat them in a single sitting, my tongue go crazy. I approve.

These are like original Pocky but not really....Yeah that makes since. So these are like half the length of the Pocky but probably double in thickness. Also the sticks have chocolate rather than regular biscuit. These are pretty good, I paid like $3 for 12 sticks though. Not sure if I spend that much again on them though. Pretty good, the strawberry is a lot like the regular strawberry Pocky.
