Lotte Fit's Link No Limit Mint Gum Gundam Edition

 photo IMG_3899_zps458f61e9.jpg photo IMG_3900_zpsbe82b2e6.jpg

Lotte Fit's Link No Limit Mint (Gundam Edition) has a nice Mint flavor. Taste a lot like Spearmint and last for awhile. This was a Gouf Gum Edition for Gundam and noticed it on a stand in a Hobby store while in Kyoto in November. Grabbed two and started chewing on the streets all Gundam like. This gum in pretty popular (Fit's Link) and its pretty good tasting. Grab some while you are there but you wont find it with a Gouf on it, that I am sure of. It is a decent size piece not to small or large so you can enjoy. Supposedly up to 50 minutes you can enjoy this and I am at 15 minutes now and still have the faint taste of it.

Tradition Brand Barley Tea

 photo IMG_8272_zps512e0b6b.jpg photo IMG_8275_zps90b844ac.jpg

Traditional Brand Barley Tea is refreshing hot. Not a strong flavor and different then a normal tea (tea leaves). It is a traditional Tea drink, especially in Taiwan more so than Japan. This brand is great but their oolong tea is much to be desired. Barley tea is also refreshing if you chill it after you brew. I might have to do that soon and make a large pitcher of it.

I recommend this and so does Ms. Noodle!!!

Bánh Mì Dac Biet - Bánh Mì Cantina (Vietnamese Cold Cut)

 photo IMG_3824_zps5cfe3fbb.jpg

This is the second greatest food to come from French occupation in Vietnam (first being pho). Banh mi sandwiches, if you’ve never had one, are one of the most delicious things on the planet. The word “banh mi” literally translates to bread in Vitenamese, but what we are referring to in this post is the versitale sandwich. A traditional banh mi has 8 components: the bread, mayonnaise, pate, pickled radish/carrot, cilantro, cucumber, hot pepper, and the main meat. The ingredients may vary, but this is the base breakdown. Even vegan variations follow this system (with substitutions of course). Mr. Tea and I visit the catina on a regular basis for two reasons: 1- they’re cheap! (at $3.75 per sandwich), 2- they’re delicious! If you’re in the Richmond area I would highly recommend visiting the Banh Mi Catina for lunch. If you are a vegan or vegetarian, Phoneix Garden offers a wide variety of faux banh mi sandwiches. There are a few other places in the Richmond area we have yet to visit, so this page will be updated soon!

I got a Banh Mi Dac Biet sandwich and it was pretty good but I wish I had gone with the shredded and roasted pork one rather then this.

Taste Nirvana Tisanes Thai Tea

 photo IMG_3884_zps46556760.jpg photo IMG_3887_zpsfdfb6be8.jpg photo IMG_3886_zpsa3d4c17b.jpg

It has a nice taste. I know I can enjoy this right off the bat with the first sip. I recommend cold or maybe even pour it into a glass with some ice in it. Little sweet but not bad flavor, they used natural cane sugar. This taste a lot like a Thai tea you get at a restaurant sometimes even better. Plenty of liquid in the can, 16.2 FL.OZ. Tisanes means herbal. There is a little over 300 calories for the can at 24% your saturated fat probably from the milk. That gives you 12% of your calcium. That is 48 grams of sugar for the can. Still delicious and I would grab it again

Botan Rice Candy

 photo IMG_3892_zps44fb180f.jpg photo IMG_3893_zps49058360.jpg

These little candies have been around for a while now. I remember having them at my friends house more then ten years ago. They come in a cute little box and have free children stickers inside. I got a pumpkin. The candies are wrapped in a plastic wrapper that has JFC on it but the candy its self is wrapped in an edible wrapper. It is interesting to put that in your mouth but it dissolves pretty quickly. I first started to notice the sweet rice and could tell it was there. Then it sits in the mouth and you can taste the lemon and orange. Its nice as the candy softens and is nice to enjoy.

Ms. Noodle doesn't really like the candy wrapper and she thinks it taste nothing but sugar, like cheap candy.

The ingredients are glucose syrup, sugar, sweet rice, water, lemon flavor and orange flavor.

Here is a fan made Commercial for your enjoyment!

Recommend to trying this but $1.25 for it was a bit much I think.

Kasugai Roasted Hot Green Peas

"A Happy Present from Earth" is what is labeled on the package.

 photo IMG_3910_zps899aee44.jpg photo IMG_3911_zpscb568347.jpg

These Roasted Hot Green Peas are coated lightly with wasabi and that is their hotness. If you like the flavor of wasabi then these roasted green peas are for you. The taste are not that bad and it isn't nearly as bad as eating wasabi. The mild wasabi flavor with the slight burn in the nostrils can get you on the right track and the peas are definitely roasted. They crumble in the mouth from their crisp time in the oven. I would go back and try the original ones as I'm not a wasabi fan but they can be enjoyed if you do.

I wont grab anymore but will the original ones since they are nice treats.

Like Wasabi? Grab some.

Luzona Calamansi Juice Drink

 photo IMG_3834_zpsff1e5be3.jpg photo IMG_3831_zpsb6969b61.jpg

This was really tart. I loved it but I can maybe have one once a week or I will have bumps all over my tongue. This was like a combo of lime and orange into a juice which a flavor I am interested in. They even look like Limes on the can but the seeds look to large. Only at 9 % juice and the can makes 8.5 FL oz. Intense flavor, heck maybe you might want to water it down. I maybe grab this again, I think I got it for 75 cents or a dollar.

Lotte Fruitio Orange gum

 photo IMG_3902_zps37628f53.jpg photo IMG_3903_zps4e4c96bb.jpg

This gum is a small little Chiclets like gum. It has a hard coating that is orange in color and has great orange flavor till the hard coating melts away. You then have about ten minutes of chewing time where you are still getting decent flavor from it. It has a nice orange taste that isn't as strong as mint types. It is pleasant and I enjoyed the experience and it isn't a whopper size of gum in your mouth the chew which is nice. I would get this again, and I picked it up in Japan for 125 Yen I believe.

White Rabbit Creamy Candy

 photo IMG_3888_zps04c2d3df.jpg photo IMG_3889_zpsdf1cdd37.jpg

This candy comes in a edible wrapper, rice paper. It is a little bit longer then a tootsie roll. It is a chewy candy and I was guessing like those milk caramel like candies. They are really chewy and stick to the teeth like crazy. Nice and creamy and worth the buy. I might like this more then the other milk candies I have tried, there is more of a bit in this one!

  photo IMG_3891_zps7f6b6633.jpg

The company is out of Shanghai originally and actually has more flavors then just vanilla. I didn't know this. The original was ABC milk candies and they used a Micky Mouse drawing on the packaging. They were really cheap to import and so they got out there and popular that way. Soon the company ABC Candies was state owned and wanted to change the logo since using Micky Mouse apparently showed the were worshiping foreign countries and changed it to the White Rabbit. Today it is one of China's top branded sweets.
You should grab some!
